General Information

  • Il Nilo is located in Egypt, Cairo, Garden City, in front of the Four Seasons Hotel (Here). and operates as a fine dining establishment offering authentic Italian cuisine inspired by Egyptian culture.
  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Il Nilo, including dine-in, takeout, catering, and online orders.
  • Il Nilo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website and in-store.

Reservations

  • Reservations can be made via phone, email, or through our official website/app.
  • A valid contact number and name are required for all reservations.
  • Tables are held for up to 15 minutes after the reserved time. After this period, we reserve the right to release the table to other guests unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Large group bookings (more than 10 people) may require a deposit, which will be communicated during the booking process.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for large groups; otherwise, the deposit may not be refunded.

Menu & Pricing

  • Our menu items are subject to change based on seasonal availability and ingredient sourcing.
  • Prices listed on the menu or website are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Special dietary requests (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan) should be communicated to staff when ordering. While we strive to accommodate such requests, we cannot guarantee allergen-free meals due to shared kitchen equipment.
  • Promotions, discounts, and special offers are valid only during specified periods and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

Payment Policies

  • We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), and mobile payment methods approved by local regulations.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of your bill. Splitting bills among multiple parties is allowed but must be requested before the check is issued.
  • For dine-in customers, a service charge of 12% and 14% VAT may be added to your bill. Additional tipping is appreciated but not mandatory.
  • In case of disputes regarding charges, please notify management immediately so that we can resolve the issue promptly.

Health & Safety

  • Il Nilo adheres to strict health and safety standards set by local authorities. All staff members undergo regular training and hygiene checks.
  • Guests exhibiting symptoms of illness (e.g., fever, cough) may be asked to leave the premises for the safety of others.

  • During peak seasons or public health advisories, capacity limits and social distancing measures may be enforced.

Liability Disclaimer

  • Il Nilo is not responsible for personal belongings lost or stolen on the premises.
  • Any damages caused by guests to property or equipment will result in charges being levied against the responsible party.
  • Il Nilo shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions arising from unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, power outages, or government-imposed restrictions.

Privacy Policy

  • Personal information collected during reservations, deliveries, or loyalty program sign-ups will be used solely for operational purposes and in compliance with data protection laws.
